kydex for my smaller knives. Leather bending for the Remora can be a pain (dont mean I wont), so I started playing with kydex and my Remoras, and I'm diggin it. Mostly because i can use my 13 as a neck knife again and not worry about the sheath dulling it all day. I'm thinking about making and selling them; if there is enough interest though.

I think the look great and will work like a champ.

You can use an open flame to braze the open ends, to get that smooth shiny look on the lips. And the edges. You can do the same by polishing, but I just run a torch over mine.

Great work, brother, you have become quite the sheather.

I appreciate it, really I do, but tell ya what, give it to one of the guys or gals here. I think that would be better than my greedy ass gettin' it. :D

hmmm i like. the bk13 is a keychain knife for me. gotta pic of it next to the stock sheath for comparison?

I hit my edges with the belt sander, then the sharp bits with 220. Usually don't bother going higher.

The mini tek-lock hole pattern is 7/32"dia (not counting room for grommets), 0.5" on center on the straights, 0.70 diagonal (0.5*sqrt(2)).

Wow, first it's leather then added kydex to your leather, and now you're going to be doing kydex too? I think this is great. Certain knives deserve leather, and certain ones deserve kydex. I think I'm getting one as soon as I get over this money problem. Great job.
 
Great work. It's nice to see some work done for the remora. I love that little knife.
