Ok, here is my dilemma. I absolutely love my ZT 0561. I can't describe how much I love it. I have several customs, several Busse's, a ton of other Kershaw's, a bunch of other ZT's,old Case's,Buck's,Schrade's,Boker's,Camillus,Balisong's... You name it I've probably got one I not a brand loyal guy. But I want another knife and I want to love it as much as my 561. I want a flipper, i want something non assisted, and I want it butter smooth!! Help me out. I am not a patient person so I don't want to wait, and I've blown the majority of my mad money this month and Christmas is coming up. So I want to spend around ~200. I also don't sell or trade knives even if I don't like them. So around 200 is it. What should I buy.

I don't want another 561 or a 560. I like rotating my EDC's and I don't like having duplicates.

I have an 801. Mine is not near as smooth as my 561. I think it's the stronger detent. It seems my 801 "flicks" open where my 561 "glides" open. After I posted this I actually started thinking about a Southard.

Keep me coming guys

Spyderco Southard. Hands down. It is by far the best flipper in the $200 range. It is very comparable to the 0560/0561 IMO. Buy the Spydy. You won't be disappointed

Another Southard VOTE!!

Like said again, the 0560 CBCF, they are now in the $300 range.

ZT 0350 in M390 is about $180, a little less refined vs the 0560s, but my family uses them camping(the kids don't get the M390 versions though, lol).

Don't spend money just because you have it.

However, since you're an avid knife collector, I guess that makes you exempt from that rule. :D

If you like super smooth flippers, take a look at the Kershaw DLC Junk Yard Dog. Got mine from kershawguy.

I might check out the 350 in m390. Does it have the KVT bearings?

I think I'm gonna go ahead and get the Domino and maybe the 350 as well. Where's a good place to get the Southard at a good price? I guess I need to hit up the exchange and see if there is a gently loved one out there

Spyderco Southard will be more to your liking. Try BF dealer KnifeWorks.com.

ZT 0350M390 is assisted opening.

Definitely don't want an assisted opening. That's the one thing I don't like about my 0566. How hard is it to deassist I wonder?

I was in same boat as u Kershaw/ZT knives were all I owned and loved. I decided to try expanding and gave the Spyderco PM2 and Sage 1 a shot and love them!!!! The PM2 is in my top 3 favorite knives ever now........so i think u should try one or stay ZT with a 0801 or 0566 if u dont have them

Track Down a Snap On Guy and get a CRKT Wrinkle... The IKBS on it is great..
