I'm excited about the new production CQC8/Surefire combo, but........

The Emerson CQC8 custom is a cool design. Now they unveil a production version that will be sold with a surefire flashlight in the near future. As great as that would be the blade length and overall length is a slightly larger than I want.

I wonder how long I will have to hold out for a possible mini-CQC8?

A mini CQC8 would be the best for me.

No idea if it will happen and if so when, but I can tell you that part of the production design prossess involves planning out a smaller version of every model.

Ya never know.

What are the specs on the CQC-8?

The specs are taken almost directly from the custom CQC8. The butt is slightly different due to the different screw pattern.

From the 94 customs catalog:

Overall length - 9 inches
Closed - 5 inches
Blade - 4 inches
