Hey guys. Just a thread to say that I get excited about these Friday's too.

Off to do some grinding now! Can't wait to finish and post. See y'all soon.

Couldn't agree more. Not saying that Andy and the rest of the group at Fiddleback Forge don't work hard, I'm sure they work extremely hard, but still...to do something that you're also so passionate about must be extremely rewarding.

Can't wait to see what is on offer today. Fiddleback Friday's making the work week so much more bearable haha

Yep, I love my job, but I can't bring myself to start that early very often.

Same here. Even when I know I can't buy or the weeks following the Fridays I have bought, I'm always excited to see what he has come up with next. You never know when there is going to be a new design or a new handle combination. I often go into the Friday with one model or handle color on my mind for what I am shooting for next time, and then learn "oh, I'm going to be wanting something like that!"
 
The Fiddleback Fiday gets so many excited, it's pretty typical for someone to start an "I can't wait for today's batch" thread. But for Andy to say it first? Today is gonna be EPIC!

Yeah, makes me want to say to heck with going to work and stay here to see the batch...even though buying would be impossible this week...

I can't even access the forums at work. I'm not above sitting in a McDonalds parking lot to use their wifi on my iPod on my lunch break.

I use McDonalds for that too. At the Krystals here most of the websites I go too, including those of companies I work for, are blocked due to "weapons" content...although I can go to you tube and watch morons bump firing twin AKs and other stupid stuff. Early last year when they started that, I took photos of what I could and couldn't view there on their wi-fi from out in the parking lot with the Krystal logo in view. Then I wrote the Krystal corporate office, shared the photos with them, and suggested an anatomical challenge they should try, and I haven't eaten there since.
 
Of all days of the week for me to be tied up in meetings most of the day, today is the worst. :(

Hoping that my downtime in between coincides with a certain post.
 
Sounds like we are all on the same page: thrilled to buy, excited to see when we can't buy, and willing to dodge work so we can see what we'd buy if we could afford it...:)

I love knife people.

Best use of McDonald's wi-fi ever! I really dig Andy's maroon over natural handle configuration. I'm going to get something with that combo and a tapered tang before I'm done :)
 
I'm doing maroon scales and natural bolsters this week. Can't wait to see the finished product.
 
Hey Andy, et al. So, i was away all last week...from 3/02-3/10. One of the first things i did when i returned was to look for (and check) your Friday batch. :D
