I've known for a while that I was getting a BK9 for christmas.

Today I found out I'm getting an Eskabar too!!!!

2 Beckers for christmas!!!
 
Congrats, brother, you are getting a fantastic combo there, you should go out an get them a little winter/Christmas dirt on them.

I can't wait to get out and use my stuff on Christmas day, I'm usually out there chopping and doing stuff, still in my sleep clothes. Only problem, I sleep naked, so it gets cold quick. That and the neighbors stare. You would think they had seen an overweight, naked man chopping trees in his yard with a big knife before. Sheesh, whats this world coming to.

Thats awesome, I just got a BK7 from my wife.
Now I need to upgrade the handles, the stock handles are good but I like the look of
the micarta....
 
So the mail lady stopped by today with a package. I looked and saw my wife's name on it and was about to just throw it on the couch when I saw the from address was Tomars! BK9 is here!!!

The wife is at work so I opened it up and played with it for a few minutes. It's got a great feel, and I actually really like the grivory handles. If I didn't have the baby today I would have went outside and cut something with it. That would have been interesting.... Hey baby this knife you bought me for christmas has been used already!!! What? NO of course it wasn't me! :D
 
I also peeked and am getting a BK2 to go with my BK11. I've been making spoons lately, this should speed up the 'rough shaping' process.

This will very likely force me to order some leather and finally make a sheath. (time to add another hobby to the list)

I can tell I turned you on. Its ok, I'm used to it. Go ahead and make the most of it, just don't start stalking me, I've already got guys stalking me on a 24hrs round the clock setup. The punch in for 3 8hr shifts and to be honest, I don't have room to add another one on the crew. Maybe in the spring when some of the college kids go away on break or something.:D

My EsKabar came in yesterday.

I'm glad the mail comes when the wife is at work...

The rattle in the sheath is there but not as bad as I expected. I'm just gonna stuff a little piece of paracord in there should stop that. I'm also gonna wrap the handle with some OD green paracord, been looking at the Izula wrap threads....

It surprised me how tight the Eskabar snaps into the sheath. I've only had little cheap neck knives before, and the fit on those isn't anywhere near as good.(of course)

Now I just can't wait until Christmas so I can take my 9 and 14 out and use them!!

The neighbors might have thought that the Moose was in "Rut".
