but as I said, this is a special deal and a chance to trade up the HI ladder.

Truly a no-brainer for one of my most coveted khuks. It's worth ordering a GS from the HI site and having it shipped directly to the guy! (I considered this, but my funds are spent for the month on a old khuk from Ivan).

Let the Sunday feeding frenzy begin. Get it b4 church lets out! ;)

Man, someone is getting lucky. That is is great trade. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it.

Well, I do have a one of each already, but having two Berk specials would be even better !!!!!!!!!!!!

Wado Equa for the heads up Keith!!!! I offered JW my No-4 Millennium Special which is a prettied and fancied up 21" Gelbu Special.

Nice thing about it is that it is pre-horn troubles as well as having a thin, but not too thin convexed edge and no so-called habaki bolster!!!! The horn has beautiful grain in it.:D
And there wasn't too many Millennium Specials made either.
A berk Special is one of the few I would part with it for.:eek:

Like I said, very few deals of this caliber just turn up. If I was sposed 2 have it, I'd not have seen the oldies that Ivan was peddling to me and Nasty.

If I hand't already traded my 21" GS to Not2Sharp, ya guy's would be eatin' my dust!:D

Man! All of these primo pieces are showing up when I am at my lifetime nadir of impecunity. :( I am just a lucky man in that I gots me a fiancee who likes knives, too! :D

Mac, I am also gifted with such a maiden, though she does not share all of my hoplophilic tendencies...

She does know a lot about steel now (more than most males of the species), and she loves the skinners and kris blades.

When I brought home "Kris Kringle" (Pen's kris manucacutred from a Nicholson file), my wife announced that it was hers, but that I might might be allowed to "care for it."

Her fave HI khuk is the YCS, but she has a liking fer the AK Bowie too...

I think it was a very good trade all in all.:D I think maybe I had drawn the MS-4 outta its scabbard 4 or 5 times since I've had it. Even back then I liked the beefier full bellied blades better and really had no use for a 21" GS. Better to trade it to someone who likes it and will use it. It is a nice khuk and I wouldn't have traded it for anything less than a Berk Special.:D ;)
It's on its way to the PO even as I write this.;)
