Thought I'd show a little Red, White, & Blue

DSC_0516.jpg

Red Pearl, BP Nat. Bone, CS Indigo Blue (Satin Blade).

there you go starting another run on the custom shop!!!

Dave,

The CS Indigo Blue is interesting an interesting knife. The knife belonged to a former Buck employee who called it a one of a kind knife that he had built by the custom shop. I don't recall any satin finished 110s. Does anyone else? Anyway, it could very well be a mail box knife.

As far as starting another run on the Custom Shop, I would say "nothing has happened YET" and I'd think your survey is what got the most attention. Much more than my chirping and yapping. I did send an email to CJ about CS 112s but didn't hear back. So it must have been your survey.

And, I do have a high appreciation for sarcasm. Thanks, that was funny.

Question: Note the lack of date stamp on the the Red Pearl. Any signifcance to that?

yes it is an interesting knife!! cought my eye nicely! i am not sure {{ have holes in myu head and info leaks out}} but i think that blue color was a custom shop only color and it is rare for me to see one !
((( NOTE: if it were not for forum rules i would have asked if it had a price!!!! would look good next to some gold ones i have!!)))
and the satin finish also was a CS option as i recall.
This DOES NOT have that "X" box or pocket look to it at all and thoes things did/do happen

every one knows i am such a buck nut that my yapping and jabbering is mostly ignored by throes that know me.. but if any of my drivel does help .. i guess it's a good thing..

there is no idea of how many finished the run..
my first thought on seeing one in my hand was that Joe put out some Easter eggs for us to find...{{this has happened}} he said no, jest broke a die is all

Dave,

You should do some lurking on Ebay. That's were I got the CS Indigo. No Box or Sheath but in mint condition. It was one of those better than expected deals you sometimes get over there. To think it was only about $15 more than the Red Pearl was pretty cool. g

I think you can still get the indigo blue thru the custom shop. I also bid on
this knife and was hurring home to try and bid again before it ended and just
missed it by a couple minutes. I have a custom shop indigo blue with BG-42 and wanted this knife to go with it, but i do have to say it looks great with
your red and white. Nice knife.

Hey Thanks Tom. I was surprised I won it actually. I did bid a bit more than the final price but not what a CS knife should comand.

I'm going to try taking that picture again in better light. It was a little late but I took it anyway. The blue in much better, as you know, than my picture shows.
