I've finally got a chance to post after a long time, but it's been a rough month for my family. My father has cancer (again) and is in the hospital, my sister is in and out of the hospital for other complications... and my Aunt passed away after a long battle with lung cancer. I've been so distraught that I haven't really been on the computer or buying knives, and I even missed out on that GEC 85 easy open I was so ready to get :D. I finally got a day off the other day and spent it with my son and wife and we went to Amish country. We found a nice antique store and I picked out a few things for myself and something for my son. I probably won't be posting that regularly like I used to, but hopefully I can find some time to check in.

Unknown Scout (Probably Camillus)

Sword Brand (Streamline) Jack

Imperial Small Cattle

GEO Schrade Hunter

Finnish Puuko. I've always wanted one of these and finally found one I liked a lot.

Neat Keen Kutter sign

And a WW2 Compass for my son. It is made by W&L E. Gurley

Welcome back, Tom, and sorry for your troubles.
Looks like those knives are giving you a little pleasure and respite!! The Pukko is great!!
Hope to see more of you!!

Do what you need to do, Tom. Positive thoughts go with you from your friends.

Thanks for posting those nice knives. Glad you had some respite.

Family is the most important thing. Hoping things turn out well for you and your family.

Great finds! I'm sure someone will come up with one of the #85 sfo easy opens for you.

Sorry you've been having some hard times my friend, nice to see you posting again. I like the knives and that compass looks great for the young feller.

Take care and hope to see you here again soon.

Jack

Sorry that you're going through a tough time, Tom. I'm sure your presence here has been greatly missed.

Sorry to hear about this, I was kinda wondering where you'd got to. I'll be praying for ya. Hope you find your #85.

Good to see you, Tom. Your family is in my prayers. Wonderful finds!! I always loved the Streamline once Duncan showed us his. Gotta pick up a puukkooo one day too.

I was wondering where you might have gone, and am sorry that your absence has been due to so many difficult and painful situations with those you love.

Thanks for checking in, and for taking the time to returning with pictures of more-of-those-Finds-that-find-you. :)

Peace and rest to you and yours.

Man I'm sorry about your loss and other family issues. I've spent a good amount of time at MD Anderson for my wife lately and we are still having issues. Cancer is some awful stuff. :(

Glad to see you back though. That's a clean looking scout. I've been kind of looking for a nice bone iteration of one.

Tom, I am saddened to hear of your family's troubles, I hope both your Aunt and dad pull through - strongly!
I love the age the Puukko shows, and yet just look at that blade! the knife shows its age well, and yet it's had very little use - that's a great score , and I especially like the Keen kutter sign -that's a great score my friend - just great.
Nice to see the Streamline, I think they are SUPER cool knives, Camillus did it right with those-that's for sure!

Nothing is more important than family, the most anyone can spend on them is time. Take care.
Paul

Sorry to read of your family's troubles and sadness...best wishes in the future to you and yours. I have missed looking at the wonderful old knives that seem to come your way, nice haul from your recent trip:thumbup: I too love that old Puukko!

I certainly hope that you don't succumb to your hardships, and get through these hard, discouraging, times. BTW that Imperial Cattle knife, sports some beautiful scales. I love celluloid, and acrylic. Keep your head up.
