After 34 years of bachelorhood(or old bastardhood as my aunt likes to call it), I've finally found somebody who can put up with me. Misti is the girl of my dreams(and the occassional nightmare) so I decided to pin her down before she changed her mind about me. I'm really excited about spending the rest of my life with her. Any words of wisdom or sage advice from my fellow knife knuts? I've already got some razzing from the chat bastids so I look forward to what ya'll might have to say. :D

Let her build her "nest".
Make sure she has fine kitchen knives before you bring that next Carson into the house. :D
Talk to her or at least keep her thoughts and feelings in mind in making any decision.

I've been married four months now, and our biggest source of disagreement is our pets.

Congratulations man.

My marriage is the best thing (other than my little girl) that ever happend to me. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Just don't give up man. When things get hard too many people throw in the towel to quickly. During our first year of marriage my wife and i argued more than ever. We worked through it all and are wonderful now :D. You have to work at it.....like anything else that ends up being good and worth while.

Congratulations, James. It's been 4 years for us now, and I love her to death. When we get mad at each other, I usually just clam up, have a few beers, and apologize later.

We decided not to have kids, but we have 3 cats that are better than kids - they use a litterbox!
 
This is my advice... heed it. Buy all the guns and knives you can RIGHT NOW, before you get married. Afterwards, it gets more difficult.
Oh, and by the way.... Congrats!
