Imagine what he could've accomplished with a concealed handgun. A kuhkuri wielding man sounds rather scary to me though.

What a great story!!! While I was reading that I couldn't help but think what would happen in the US if you killed 3 robbers/rapists on a train and wounded 8 others these days?!?! Could you imagine the lawsuits that those bastards would throw on you when some crazy attorney got a hold of them?! You'd be lucky if you didn't end up in jail and they were splitting the profits from the seizure of your car, home, and everything else you own.

The aftermath doesn't matter. Priority one is to survive the situation.

I wonder if the machete actually was better than a gun in this case - those 11 injuries were probably pretty graphic. I think a little ghurka chopping people up is probably scarier than a guy shooting people.

Good for him. That took nads the size of boulders to stand up and fight that many people.

What a great story... The funny part is the lifetime free travel and honorary life membership with Agni Air.

Indian TSA- "Sorry sir you're going to have to check that sword in your baggage"

What an awesome story. He must have known that it was an entire gang of armed robbers, and must have realized the pistols could be real. He knew fighting back could mean certain and swift death, but when the girl cried out to this soldier for help, he rose to the call. The guy knew he wouldn't be able to look at himself in the mirror again if he didn't act, and that is worse than death.

I wish I value my honor that much.
