I'm going camping for fall break

Fall break starts tonight here at Snow College. It's a 4 day weekend and the weather looks good so I'm going to go camping. Heading home to mom's house tonight after work and will be enjoying her fire place. Since I don't have a car, my plan is to hike from mom's house up the canyon the 4.5 miles to the national forest boundry and find a nice spot just inside to camp. Will stay there till the food runs out then head home. Probably just Thursday afternoon to sometime Friday. Depends on how much food I can raid from mom's kitchen.

My over night bag is packed for the weekend and my Blackhawk Ruck is packed for the campout minus the food. As for steel, I have Lisa, Nibbler (French Hawk), Black Kraton handled Kabar, SOG Power Lock and a folder. Will probably pack some more steel at mom's house if I feel the want/need. IMO a SOG Pentagon or Mini Pentagon makes a good backup.

This time I remembered to pack my camera and tri-pod so I'll be posting pictures when I get back.

After seeing todays Neem handled AST Khukri, I'm thinking that I might switch Lisa out for my Rosewood handled one. I'm sure the Scrub Oak in the foothills would quake!
