I like my first one which I've had for few years now http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=283915&highlight=Blackjack+slick so well that I'm going to go for a second one. This new one will be in AUS-10 with the Cocobolo handle. I have other good knives, but this one has risen to the top. It's my favorite. The new one will be a little less fancy (without the jigged bone and the 1095), so It'll be more of a "user". I'll probably keep it in the garage near the tool bench and use it some in the yard too.

I find the size to be quite useful for what I do (Camping, sharpening sticks, cutting green sticks, food prep, cutting cord, opening packages) and the 1095 edge has been really good. I really like the blade shape, thickness and the pointy, point. I really like the brass guard. I like 1095. I can get it really sharp (easily) and it holds an edge real well for me and doesn't chip like some of the fancy stainless blades I've got (although they're good too). I really like that it's made of traditional materials, so it looks good and won't melt. It's not heavy like other (even smaller) knives I have which have heavy thick full tangs.

I wish the handle was a little longer for comfort. But then it wouldn't pack so well and be easy to carry. The sheath is great too for a production knife. One of the best I've ever recieved with a knife.

I wish there were more knives to choose from (also from other brands) similar to the Slick and Small.
