I finally figured out how to sharpen them so now I need a few more. The wife is ok with this so critique my list.

CQC 7 or Super CQC 7
Commander
CQC 15
Snubby
That new hunting knife I think its the CQC 16

Im also kind of up in the air on a CQC 8.

The only one I have now is an old benchmade model. I had a Commander BTS but hated the serrations, then a 15 but my brother talked me into selling it to him. I looked at the Emerson website today and sharpened the old Benchmade CQC like the tutorial and its now shaving sharp. I have seriously had my doubts in the past. Hell I actually thought the chisel grind was a bad idea until I sharpened it today. Im sold.
 
From your list id go for the cqc7, cqc8 and 14 (snubby)

But id also look at the HD7, 12, combat kerambit and Persian. They are probably the best EKI has to offer IMO. :thumbup:
 
ok the ones that I have are the Mini Commander so anything from that series is awesome for me, and the CQC 8 just arrived at my door monday and after some playing with it and some WD 40 its as fast as lightning and my friends are loving it and it's lightsaber sharp. The 15 is a nice looking one and the 16 has a nasty looking blade on it and I like it, the 7 is as always a trusty stand by for anyone, my brother is looking at the 7's. Snubby is nice but not for me but what is for me isn't for everyone, and look at the ones Haze suggested he knows his stuff.
 
of those on your list the only one which would interest me is the '15 because i've had all the others or they dont grab me, they are all good knives though.

imho every EKI collection should have a '12 simply 'cuz its the best production they offer imho.
