I'm going on atrip to Moscow in March, and I'm curious if any of you guys would know. Should I bring my sebbie along? If not, spyderco centofante 3 or nothing at all? Thanks.

Well, I would not take a knife, and use the opportunity to try to mail back a Shirogorov or other cool Russian knife. Unless you have diplomatic immunity, do not risk your freedom over EDC carry.

My advice when visiting police states ,or even former ones, is to bring as little as possible, and only bring stuff you would not mind being confiscated. Don't bring fancy cameras, etc. unless they are insured. Foreign countries' police do not need good reasons to jack you up.

Follow State Dept. guidelines, and please don't take risks.

Ahh. I'll leave my blades at home, then. Are shirogorovs cheaper there? Any blades in particular I should look for?
