Well, I've been looking longingly at an RC-4 for a while and I guess I'll go for it. I just don't know which one to get.

No serrations for me, I'm sure of that.

Good choice bro. I prefer the ODgreen/orange or tan/canvas green to the normal black/black. The orange would certainly be easier to see if you lay it down or drop it. Either way, good choice of knife. Let us know which one you choose.

If you are going to use it for outdoor use, then I'd suggest the Orange/OD for visibility purposes. Otherwise, pick what looks nicest to you, they'll all work. :D

I recently took the plunge. Put er on My christmas list. Cant wait for the 25th! I got PE black/green

I put the orange one on my Christmas list. We'll see if it happens. Then I won't be ashamed to post here as much. ;)

I use mine as my primary hunting knife but I prefer the black/black mostly because I am sick of everything being either camo or orange so I like to "accessorize" in different colors where I can. :) I think the b/b looks the best. You won't lose your knife because of the color but if you are worried use a bright colored lanyard.

It's a great choice of a knife!

You can't go wrong, so get what you like. I got the RC-4 early so black/black was it and I'm 100% happy with it.

I would do the tan/green if I were to get another. I would love to see an orange/tan combo....;)

You should be very happy & well served with the RC4. A few months ago I bought the black RC3 and really liked it. Then I got the tan RC4 and LOVE it! The RC4 feels as if it were made just for my hand. I have the RC4 on my belt now during hunting season & it will stay there during hiking season with the kids. I am really impressed with the fit & finish of both the 3 & 4, the Rat-3 has been outcast to the truck knife. I am proud to promote the Rat Cutlery products every chance I get. RC all the way & USA made...how can you go wrong...you can't!!! Go RC !

I just purchased an RC4. I am no novice when it comes to knives and I just wanted to post a very complimentary remark as to the quality and balance, and construction of this knife. I would normally have expected to pay twice the price for this level of craftsmanship. It will now be strapped to my backpack as I regularly hike the AT near my home. Thanks Rat Cutlery and wishing you continued success.

Yahoo, it came today. It IS really nice. Thanks to all who jumped in on this discussion.
