I'm going to try a rotation of my EDC knives

I have a good number of knives eligible for EDC and to give them equal wear I'm going to try a rotation, essentially carrying each one for a week and then switching to the next. Some of these I've had for longer than others. I picked this group out of my collection as the one I most wanted to carry, leaving behind some other good knives. I have more on my wish list and if I buy some of them I would have to increase the rotation.

In the second photo I aligned the front ends of the handles with the joint between boards so it would be easier to see the relative lengths of blades and relative lengths of handles.

Good idea, I've been thinking about doing that as well. Right now I just grab the knife I want, maybe carry it for a few days then switch. When I get to 7 main carry folders I'll probably rotate daily.

I've been switching up too.

I carried a Mini Barrage for 2 years. I've aquired other knives now so I switch every once in a while.

I'm carrying an FRN Endura 4 now. I like it a lot so far.

done it many times, usually less than a week but min 3 days, often do it at home with different kind/sized knives
it's a good idea to understand knives better, find your own "knife philosophy", understand differences and steels

I rotate as well, mostly based on what I might be doing that day. Sometimes I switch a couple times a day. Maybe to a small gents type like an Al Mar Hawk or Lion Opera if I am going into the city or such.

Of your list, I would carry the Tenacious, Para2 and the Blur in that order.

I just open the knife drawer and grab the one that "feels" right that day. Today my skyline "feels" right. It was the Benchmade minigrip but when I picked it up I saw the skyline and went that way. The benchmade is a great knife it's just a skyline day. Know what I'm talking about?

I hear what your sayin'. It's all about what fits the mood for any given day.

I am outside all day. I take my beater to work--then carry my "good" knives when I'm not going to be all full of sweat!
