I was sitting here today, starving to death, 16 creditors standing in line (yes, they took a number), watching the various utilities to my house being turned off. Just when I thought things were really bad, the mail came. In the mail was this letter from an Itallian guy (most of the time they're from Nigeria) saying that he's an attorney representing the late Victor (Victor?) Hensarling.
Uncle Vic has left me $12,500,000 !!!!
It's mine if I sign over some papers and so forth. Nothing ventured, nothing gained eh?

Anyway, of course it's a scam. It was just that it's now in the form of a nice letter, made with windows probably. So, I ask this just in fun: Has anyone out there had any dealings with the Esteemed:
Chaparro & Ghosn Abogados from Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, Spain??

Well I hope it is! I told my wife about it and she's on a shopping spree as I type. This guy is pretty well set up with two emails, a web site, telephone numbers, etc. Poor old Uncle Victor, we so much loved that man. What a pity to see him go.
I think I'll go buy me a new Caddy!

This one's a little more sophisticated than most. They cop an existing firm and even legit web address. Odd, though, that they use gmail and yahoo instead of their normal website email! :rolleyes:

I was hoping for something like the one Mark posted, with a Malaysia concern using a Czech server. Shucks..no joy. :(:)
 
I always answer them useing my X-wifes e-mail address and bank account #. Just my luck one of them would be for real.

I used to get the emails out the wazoo!
One time I told em I'd be happy to sign up but I was broke and needed them to send me some start up funds and they didn't send me anymore emails for ages!
 
Robert, Guess what I don't need the loan. Got home from work and seems my nearest relitive Victor Sharpe has passed away. He left me 12,500,000.00. I see a 68 Mustang gt 500 in my near future. What are the odds of us both haveing relitives with the same amount of money, dieing in Spain in the same week. Whow they both have the same first name, and the same attorney's. Meet you in Vegas.
