Most of you guys know how much I love Res-C, but....
I just received this SH-e2 from the exchange and I have to say, I think it's the PERFECT exposed tang BUSSE ever designed for big mitts!!! I'm happy with EVERYTHING about this knife, from the swedged clip, the red and black contoured scales, the balance and DCBB spine and belly. The paint on this one is different than the normal crinkle finish, it is a super thin and super flat black finish. It has no sheen at all. The handle feels great in every grip, with or without gloves. I know I'm still begging and pleading for a HOGB8, but if it never happens, I'm glad I found this beast. I'm Lovin' It! Thanks Jerry, Beef and Inspector 21(?) for releasing this one out into the wild and Thanks Again Jonathan for the Great Trade Brother!

Here's a cropped picture to show the thin flat black finish (It seems harder to the touch too compared to the other black coated kin blades I have... kinda like the original flat jungle green they used on the early Game Wardens).
