Most of you guys know how much I love Res-C, but....

I just received this SH-e2 from the exchange and I have to say, I think it's the PERFECT exposed tang BUSSE ever designed for big mitts!!! I'm happy with EVERYTHING about this knife, from the swedged clip, the red and black contoured scales, the balance and DCBB spine and belly. The paint on this one is different than the normal crinkle finish, it is a super thin and super flat black finish. It has no sheen at all. The handle feels great in every grip, with or without gloves. I know I'm still begging and pleading for a HOGB8, but if it never happens, I'm glad I found this beast. I'm Lovin' It! Thanks Jerry, Beef and Inspector 21(?) for releasing this one out into the wild and Thanks Again Jonathan for the Great Trade Brother!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Here's a cropped picture to show the thin flat black finish (It seems harder to the touch too compared to the other black coated kin blades I have... kinda like the original flat jungle green they used on the early Game Wardens).

I hear ya, great ergonomics! Your Sh-e2 has more of an almost clip point compared to mine.

Thanks Guys, I'm really liking this one. It's profile/silhouette just simply says "KNIFE" without all the swoops, points, crushers and other style stuff we like to look at normally around here.

I'm thinking a horizontal black kydex core/deep reddish burgundy leather shell "hybrid" sheath is needed for this one. It deserves it.

I only have the BME2, but the handles are pretty much ideal for me.

Great lines on that SHE-2!!

Stumpy!! It makes me happy that you're so happy. The SH-e2 is definitely not getting the love and attention it deserves. I love mine!! Now beat on it and then reprofile the edge and beat on it some more!!!

The ergos are a dream!!

Looks great man! Congrats on the score

Am I crazy, or did they not have a swedge during O2W??? I've got to go back and check... if they did have the swedge, I've got to go get my boots on.... I've go to kick myself real good.

You are correct. They didn't have a swedge for O2W.

Stump,
That ergo looks great! Nice score.

Love the clip point, definitely a looker, congrats.

I had scored an SHE2 in O2W, decided it wasn't my cup of tea, and had to take a loss on selling. So, you are right that it is not getting the love.

I think the Brad Pitt's had something to do with it not getting the love it deserved..
That whole pit drama fest was a shame and may have ended INFI dimples for us.  The thing is if you did the work to remove the decarb completely a lot of that went away to reveal the lovely dimples underneath that some of us really like! Most knives don't have a visible fingerprint that a picture can show in case of theft, but INFI dimples do just that on top of looking cool!:thumbsup:

Some of those were way worse than the dimples we are used to seeing.

Bravo! I couldn't agree more.

If I had to be Hyper critical... I'd perhaps prefer a Full Flat grind or Zero Convex.

Thanks for sharing.
