I'm happy with the Benchmade service

I tried to order deep pocket clips, got the email that they will send them for free and never got anything. Sent few emails after waiting several months and never got any reply from them. Sadly disappointed in Benchmade.
 
Why would you wait “several months” to say something? It usually takes a week or less to get free parts once you get the email acknowledging what you need.

You were asking for a FREE pocket clip and you didn’t get it. Maybe try reaching out to them. They aren’t even sending deep carry clips these days because the models that come with them standard are selling well and they don’t have too many extra.

I on the other hand, have nothing but great things to say about Benchmade customer service.

What country are you in? I'm in canada and the first time I asked for clips, it took a couple months to get them in. The second time it took around a month to get them. I was never in a hurry and figured they'd show up at some point. If you're in Europe, it could take even longer, if you're in the U.S. maybe they lost your email?

Of the three times I emailed BM for something or other, they took care of the issue promptly. I can't ask for any better.
 
Email is not reliable. It can bounce at the recipient's end or when they reply to you. People get so used to the instant reply they never expect a problem.

Phone them. They may say "email us" when you call but you can then explain the situation.

3 weeks ago I "ordered" 2 deep pocket clips (1 silver, 1 black) by email and got an email response stating they would send them. I'm in Cali and it took about 2 weeks. Very nice of them. It was my 3rd time over the years getting this service. I'd say do a follow up call as I'm pretty sure they get hundreds of these requests a week.

Also my turnaround with service/sharpen service isn't too bad either. Love that it's free.
 
I'm no fanboy of any brand, but why not call them before going online to post an anonymous, more-or-less permanent, public complaint?

This seems to be a common reaction these days, going the nuclear option because of minor grievances, when it can often be avoided with a little more effort towards proper communication (e.g. picking up the phone/being a little more patient). I know the squeaky wheel gets the grease and anonymous reviews breed exaggerated outrage, but c'mon...

For the record, Benchmade has always been responsive, courteous and has quickly sent any parts I've requested.
 
Yeah definitely call them, they have some of the best customer service in the business (any business actually). But it has been well documented for years on various forums that sending an email only for the pocket clips is inconsistent. Calling them is a sure thing by most accounts and that has been my experience on several occasions as well.

Just to add to this, their email service is horrible. I had an Omega spring break on my Kulgera a few years ago. Sent multiple emails and never received a response.

After a month, I called them and was helped immediately. If the Benchmade was my only knife, I would have followed up sooner.

I actually wasn't expected them for free, was going to order.
 
Just got deep pocket clips today, 4 instead of 2. They were sent this Monday. I haven't even called yet. Thank you Benchmade :).
 
I have never ever called benchmade ,and I live in Canada,and they have always responded back through email,and very very nice into the bargain.top class service.
In my eyes all those who complain are liars or bullshitters.or doing something terribly wrong .just saying like I see it,
That girl Hannah is a true lady and sincere as they come.
