I'm having fun now......I made some more.

Man you are really getting there. Outstanding work. Go to Harbor Freight and spend 40 bucks on their 1 x 30 belt grinder. It will pay for itself on the first sheath. They also have 80 and 120 grit belts. Keep up the good work, it's fun watching you get better and better.

nice work. go gold, and sell. or sell on ePrey :)

Thanks!!! I'm tryin' :) I wouldn't even know what to ask for for a sheath. I think I'll just trade 'em off for other knives for a while.

I'm thinking about getting one, but I need to be able to further justify it to my wife. I know that you need to spend money to make money. How knows though, I might get one some time soon.

Thanks!!!

I thought I would have to go 'knifemaker' to sell 'em on here. Or is that if I'm looking for people who want one specific for what they want?

I didn't think about ePray. I might check into that also.

I'm not into leather sheaths, but I dig you work and have enjoyed your threads. It's easy to see your improvements, especially the last one. I think you'll have no doubt of your work quality after a few more given your progression.

Thanks slapper.

If you could construct something similar to H.H.L.W Kabar USMC sheath, but for vertical carry, I would be in heaven.

ursamajor, I don't even know what that is.

Thanks Mr. The Warrior.

Nope, Gold. I like that dangler a lot. That'd be cool for a BK 7 as well.

Nicely done. These are really coming along! Keep at it man, you just keep getting better and better!

I think I'll have to go gold then. It would pay for itself after the first sheath I sold.......

There is a leather shop in the town next to me. I've been meaning to go in there for a while now, and today I finally did. Man, they have almost everything I'll need to be great at this. The only thing that I wanted that they didn't have was the button posts/studs, but they pointed me to a place that might should have 'em.

I'm limited now to what I can make a sheath for though, but I guess that means I'll have to buy more Beckers :D

Thanks for the kind words guys. Means a lot.

You were right the first time brother. You need a Knifemaker/Craftsman/Service Provider membership to routinely sell things you make here. Nice work BTW.

Ok, thanks for the clarification on that, but what if I didn't want to routinely sell them on here? Just every once and a while, if that makes sense. I'm just a hobbyist not a pro, but I don't want to break any rules.

And thanks for the kind words.

Best bet is to post in Tech Support, so Sparkles sees the question and can give you a sure answer. To the best of my knowledge though if you're making any quantity for the express purpose of selling them and not just posting up a couple a year that you made for yourself and wanna get rid of, then you need a K/C/SP membership. Almost all knife/sheath/lanyard/doodad makers, no matter the volume, have been made to switch over or stop selling. Those who haven't just haven't been noticed yet.

Hope that helps, and again, I suggest posting in Tech Support for an official answer.

And you're welcome. Looks like you're improving quickly bro.

I'll do that, thanks for your help.

Thanks!!! I'm tryin' :)
