I am a member of so many darn car and guitar forums that I resisted my other hobby until now, but have been gathering info from you guys for a long time. I have had knives since my mom stuck a Camillus Cub Scout in the pocket of my uniform back in the day, and I have the scars to prove it!

I always carry a slipjoint and a modern locking folder, sometimes a multitool as well... but more on that later, happy to be legit

I do have a couple old blades I want to sell (much prefer selling stuff on forums) to fund some... wait, I don't know the word... in the music world we call it GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) ...KAS ??
will I need to wait until I'm further vested as a member? want to make sure I follow protocol

Yes you have to be a gold member or above to sell here.

Welcome sir!!! In order to sell on the Exchange you have to be a gold member, which carries a small subscription fee. This will also allow you to use PM'ing. You can "buy" on the Exchange at your current level.

K.A.S. - is a very real and dangerous malady. I suffer from it every day and unfortunately there is no cure. But who the hell cares, right? :D
 
Welcome to BF, you'll find your other hobbies aren't as addictive or expensive as to what you're getting into. :)
 
Welcome aboard. I can honestly say that when I joined, the number of knives has increased 10-fold relative to prior to 2005. You can thank all the good folks at BF for that mostly by teasing me with new cutlery that I just have to have. It's a sickness and I'm proud to be infected.

I also normally carry a traditional and a modern daily.
