I'm in love...

I contacted CRK about ordering a large 25. Wait is ~5 months. Threads like this with all these very satisfied people will make the wait seem that much longer.

I have also ordered a 25 through crk and this wait sucks but it seems like it is going to be well worth it. I just got my first sebenza (small 21) with a large 21 on the way so that should keep me busy for awhile.

They are out there folks. You just have to look hard enough. I picked one up a few months ago brand new from a well known supplier. Get on the notification lists and jump on it when they email you. My favorite knife of all time. Just got her first scratch today though :(

Beadblast. Did it to all of my Sebenza's and I am really pleased with how they turned out. Makes the scratches harder to detect IMO.

Sebenza 25...

That is all. Had to get that off my chest. Thanks.

So I thought I was going to have to wait 5 months to get my 25 through crk but I happened to email the right distributor at the right time and he had 1 new sebenza 25 and I purchased it sooo fast. In fact, I just got my first large sebenza today after only having 1 crk, a small 21 and I couldn't believe how much bigger it was! I love the size of the large 21 and that makes me even more excited to get my 25.

Unfortunately I don't own a bead blaster. I'll just keep carrying it until it has a pocket finish. I have a 21 that's beat to hell and it looks sweet.

Those first few scratches are the worst. Once it's all scratches, it's all good!

I did my "coin wash" finish and still very happy. The only difference I see now is that my iPhone and Sebbie like to get it on in my pocket. The edge of one scale looks quite shiny from the aluminum band of the iPhone rubbing up on it. Maybe ill have a small Sebenza soon? :D
