I was wondering if I would be allowed to carry a knife with a 10" blade, on my belt. I don't think that's considered a concealed weapon, is it? And one more thing, when people say a 4" knife do they mean the overall length or the blade length?

Not illegal in Canada.

But just to piss you off, every city has a special law about knives, mine has none. The best way to know is to ask a cop. (by the way: 4 inches is for the blade)

10 inches blade on you? What is that?
You can carry a tool, but not a weapon. So if you want to have something that big, you're better have a good reason.

I'm pretty sure 4'' blade for everyday carry, anything over 5'' only on private property..thats the last I heard for Ont. But you should check with local
police..

But what confuses me is that in the sticky it says nothing regarding the length of the knife.

If you want to know for sure contact local police.. let me know on here if you get a chance, I'm in Ont. to , I only carry a 2" folder for e.d.c and 4.5 " for hunting.. I am curious now !!!
