Who do I talk to, is there a catalog, and is there a list of custom things I can have done to it.
Sorry if this isn't the way to conduct an order but I'm having a hell of a time figuring how

Farm knives regularly come up for sale here on the forum. You can keep checking back here and maybe you can shark one.
Otherwise, as shortwinger posted, contact Yangdu to inquire about pricing, availability and custom ordering.
 
There hasn't been one for sale since April anyway, if not before. I've had a pre-paid standing order for one since the first week of April, which I just cancelled because it had been so long.

Well, what do you know!? One to my exact specs came up for sale two days day after I cancelled.

I'm keeping my eye out for one of those farmcatas! Based on my reading here, they're amazing and darn useful...
 
what are you talking about, there was one for sale just two days ago, and another just a couple weeks ago, and I dont think that either have been taken yet....
 
Well,,,, sent off a request but was told they aren't doing custom orders at this time. Damm I really want one of these.
Guess I'll have to wait to order when they will let me. Anyone have one they want to part with. Would like it to look

I suggest giving Yangdu a call and letting her know just what you want.

For instance "A standard farm knife with a horn handle and the forge scale still on the spine area." She may have one in stock, but if not she may see one coming in soon.
 
+1, the farm knife is really a standard model at this point. What you describe is just a regular farm knife.

That's the photo from the recent 7/20 Deal of the Day, and it's not yet marked "Sold".
Did you already email Yangdu to see if you could get the 7/20 DOTD Farm Knife?
