Dan,

Finished up what will probably be the last rifle I'll ever build. Now, I'm just going to sit back and wait for my new Koster Survivor and BushMaster. Life is sweet. My next project will involve the little Bushcraft blade I got from you.

Here are a couple of pictures of the little 7X57 Mauser. Hard to believe that it was a $35 Turkish Mauser, until I got hold of it. Coyotes and deer beware. Note the differentially hardened bolt handle, forged by me.

It's been a while since I shot it. I think it was shooting a bit under a MOA at 100 yards right after it was bedded. That's with a 140 grain Speer or Sierra BTHP.

Sounds like fun. My shooting is generally measured in I think I can hit that Dr. Pepper can over there or I don't think I can hit that Dr. Pepper can over there. I don't generally make it to the MOA stage.

Just move that Dr. Pepper can out to 200 yards and lay it down with the end facing you. Actually, my friends and I did a bunch of hunting with BBs in the bamboo thickets.
