Ok,
I've not bought a new knife for a couple of months now and I've been
checking out quite a few manufacturers trying to decide which one
should be my next? Anyhow, nothing was grabbing my fancy and I
thought I might have to wait until they came out with something new
and exciting (Spyderco, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Benchmade) then I
happened upon the CQC-14 (Snubby) and wow, I really quite like the
looks of this one!
So who has 'em and how do you like 'em? ;) Thanks guys.

It's a great knife. Every one I know whith one has been very happy with it, me included. :)

Indeed, I and others find the "minis" very handy to carry, and to keep with in the law in some places, but the handles on those knives can be on the small side. The 14 has a real nice balance of use with the full size hande and the shorter blade.

It just looks like a real "git 'er done" type. I will have a closer look at it soon. Thanks
again Haze for the info.

I have a CQC-14. It feels like an exceptionally stubby blade for a longish handle. That is, it's disproportionate in feel. I don't like it nearly as much as the Commander and mini-Commander. I understand the purpose and intent behind the CQC-14, but I don't care much for it, or the CQC-7. Nothing wrong with either, mind you, and I have a number of the -7's, but they just don't do it for me.

i really like my 14, i think it has a very capable blade, and the handle ergos are A+
