Ive looked all over and I've found knives with super comfy handles but garbage steel ((imo) such as 420hc

I've also found knives with cpm4v which I like, I hate the handle ergonomics

Besides Lt wright gns, mora knives, and tbs knives from UK, and white river knives ursus, can you recommend me any other brand that I haven't come across yet

I prefer sabre or full flat grind, cpm 3v,4v, magnacut, vanax,s45vn, or similar, etc .for steel and handle shape like lt wright gns or tbs knives boar knife

Thank you.

I like the Demko freereign. Which does have a nice handle and you can get it in Magnacut.

(Although I haven't had an issue with the aus 10)

I don't necessarily need the knife to be able to baton btw, I'm looking more of a great slicer with superb edge retention

If I can't find anything premade, I might contact that melanika guy to make me one with his typical blade shape but more of a gns, handle shape .I don't like that traditional puukko handle shape

Have you looked at CPK BFK (D3V or MagnaCut) or Navman’s offerings in a number of high edge retention steels?

It definitely sounds like you are into the realm of customs. I have some availability for custom work if you are interested! I have magnacut on hand too. 🤘

I agree with going the Custom route, but I'm a little biased.....Ha

I'll go all contrarian.......here.
I feel Bushcraft/woods knives are better with less carbides.
AEB-L, or 8670, 15n20, & others.....edit to add 80crv2

If you are cutting Animals with a hunting knife, or for butchering....then things like MC, Cruwear, 3v, M4, D2... Are great
