I don't exactly know where to post for this request so sorry in advance if this isn't the correct forum.
I am a fly fishing guide in Colorado where we are required to have at least a 3" blade on person while guiding. I always carry a pocket knife but I also carry a rescue knife in case of emergencies that lives on my PFD (life jacket). I have been using the NRS Co-Pilot, which is an OK knife, but I would like something a little more special. The Gerber River Shorty would also be another OK option, but I would like to support a small business if someone could make me one.
I would like for it to be corrosion resistant, blunt tipped, around 6" (or a little longer) OAL with at least a 3" cutting edge, sculpted G-10 handles (or maybe something else?), Tech Lock style sheath.
Attached are knives that are kind of "industry standard". I have also included a pictures of a Tactical Pterodactyl mid-size camper that is kind of the style I'm looking for, but with the above mentioned specifications. Let me know if this is something that someone can do or maybe give me a lead in the right direction. Thanks,
Andy
