I want a tool with these features.

1. A real blade. Not a rectangle with an edge like on the Swiss Spirit.
2. Scissors
3. Pliers
4. Philips/Flat screw drivers
5. Pocket clip or biner

I think the Charge AL or TTi might be the way to go but man are they expensive!

Thoughts?

Just looked at the Swisstool X. No pocket clip, but it seems to have the rest. I guess I could put a clip on it with the lanyard hole.

It looks like the contenders are:

Swisstool RS
Charge AL

thoughts?

Both of those would be great choices. My thought would be to keep it a bit lighter, carry a Skeletool along with a Victorinox Classic for the scissors.

Ya I had thought that route as well. I would like to not need the scissors at all, but I find them so useful.

Or how about a leatherman micra in place of the classic.

If you like the Charge, consider Leatherman's Wave. Same toolset but regular 420HC blade instead of 154cm/S30V. Uses the same pocket clip as the Charge series, though it is not included and has to be bought seperately.
