There are usually at least 30 people viewing the Busse threads and about 20 viewing the RAT threads and basicly none viewing the other manufacture threads....

Interesting.....

Make the tools and they will come. :)

Yep, the best people using the best knives made by the best people at the best company. :D

You're comparing apples to cupcakes.

Busse and RAT encourage off-topic discussion, making them miniature Bladeforums by themselves. Other manufacturer forums tend to limit discussions to the knives alone.

That’s right. Other manufacturers do not pay attention to what people have to say.

Busse Combat does.

Salud! To the guys (and girl) making us addicts want more INFI.

if you get the chance to make it to the fountain, it is better in person, thus the camaraderie on here, quality people like quality steel and dang good company...

Hey, that's not fair. I check out some of the other forums at least once a month. :o

I think a lot of us have found what we are looking for and tend to stop looking around as much. Now the thrill of the chase is deciding which Busse-kin knives to get and trying to find them.

I think for a knife maker or manufacturers forum to be active the owner of the company or someone directly involved with the company has to be active in it too. Check out the forums where the knife make never posts, the forum is already dead or dying. For example look at Hortons forum, its one of the newest subforums under Knife Maker specific forums but also the busiest. Quality of knives also determines how busy that forum will be also. ;)

Very true, and another reason I like this room.
