I have just started casually collecting knives in the past year. I don't have a particular style/brand I prefer but seem to go after whatever catches my eye or whatever seems a suitable EDC or backpacking knife. That said, I have recently found a local store with some early T.A. Davison knives(marked TAD) for sale. The store mostly focuses on ammunition sales and in no way is considered a knife shop. The knives are unpriced but definitely for sale and I was considering making the owner an offer. The knives I believe are all fixed blades. What would be a fair price per knife? what would be too much? I hope I heven't broke any forum rules with this post. Any info would be appreciated.

I have and the info I've found has been on his slipjoints with his current markings. Not much out there on his TAD fixed blades.

TAD is a different company altogether: Triple Aught Design doing military style fixed blade and heavy duty folders.

I looked at the Triple Aught Design website and believe these are T.A. Davison fixed blades. I found an old forum with him saying he used to mark his knives TAD. I am curious on value as the guy who runs the shop isn't too friendly. They are very good looking knives and I hope to own one or more of them.

Contact Mr. Davison?
His work looks great. I hope you can get those knives at a good price.
