So yesterday after a rather difficult series of operator connections (Long distance calling SUUUUUUUUUCKS) I got a hold of CRK. I have placed an order for my very own Sebenza. I've been told it will take between 9 and 12 months, so I have a WHILE to wait ahead of me. I believe I am now one of you, or I will be soon enough! :D
 
Oh, I forgot to say! How silly of me! I ordered a Large SEbenza 21 with Raindrop damascus and a raindrop CG handle. I'm normally not one for damascus.... but I figured what the hell? It's stainless, REALLY REALLY GOOD damascus..... so why not? If I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go big.
 
Great blade. Your first is always special hold on to it.
 
Have you gone through the initiation ritual yet? It's very similar to what you might experience with the Freemasons only with more pain. Wait, have I said to much? ;)

Nice choice, you are right that you went big! That is a long wait...... You are a stronger person than me I would have ordered that one and then bought one in stock to hold its place for the next year:D
Make sure you post pics when it arrives!
 
I'm with Ernie, I would order an in stock from a dealer, or off the forum..... I could not live without my CR in my pocket. That's why we all have multiples.,.It's not a disease, it's insurance,,,, Yeah s u r e.....! bart
 
I wish I COULD have gotten more than one, but I'm a bit short on knife money at the moment. And yes, this is gonna be a looooong wait..... but it's gonna be worth it when it gets here and I post those pics I'm gonna take ;D!

I had no patience and sought one at a store and paid 100 more than the websites sold it for.

2nd one was ordered and delivery was 7 long days I could not imagine 9 months!!!
 
Congrats ! That sounds like quite a knife. I look forward to seeing some pictures of that beauty.
