It's been fun and I have enjoyed my time here but after receiving a warning for trolling I am pretty offended, if I am determined to be a troll then Blade isn't the forum for me.

I called up an unpleasant character who has freely trolled across several threads and this thread and last post resulted in me getting a warning for trolling which leaves me very offended.

I call a kettle a kettle and dislike trolls and rude behaviour, I defend what I believe in and now I am a troll.

I'll be on the green forum.
 
It's your call, of course. But I got dinged once for trolling and I just let it pass. Wasn't much longer after that that the person who was the focus of my trolling got banned. So I lost the battle but I won the war.

Sometimes life just works out that way. :)
 
At least it was a warning and not an infraction. If I were in your position, I would politely ask the mod who issued it, by PM or the tech support forum, to explain his reasons for giving you a warning while other posts in that thread are obviously more blatant examples of trolling.
 
Let me guess Karda? Stick around Jay. Your valued here, don't let a one person get you down. I got a 1 year 10 point penalty from Karda after being on the forums for a couple weeks because I posted a warning about a CRK fake on eBay. I titled the thread, Heads-Up! Fake Sebenza on eBay. He said I was promoting a fake... I was pissed but I got over it and now have an opinion of him... There are knuckleheads here, don't let them bring you down!!!
 
Don't let one person prevent you from leaving a forum man, It's your decision, but there is a lot of knowledge here and you yourself can help people as well, I have received a couple of questionable infractions myself , and yeah I was mad but I looked at the bigger picture, If your gone I'll see you at the green place.

Yikes. Thats worse than being warned for trolling.

Listen, I've been repeatedly warned, repeated infracted and even called a potty word by the mods around here. Something I would have received an infraction for had I said it to a mod. Some of it I deserved, and some I didn't. Thats cool. Brothers mostly get along just fine, but not always. And with the multiple thousands of posts I've made, that stuff happens. I say that most folks who don't get warned once in a while are not saying anything interesting, and its really difficult - if not impossible - in this format for your inflection, intent, sarcasm, etc. to always be properly communicated.

So you can take your football and go home if you like, but I recommend that you consider staying, letting these things roll off your back, and moving on. Talking with other knife kooks is too much fun to let it disappear over a little squabble.
 
Dude you can't leave, I just started following your posts! You take the coolest pics going! Your why I bought a carbon scale for my xm18......once I get the photobucket thing going, you could see what your posts and N2k's have done to my bank account! Seriously don't scrap this part of your hobby......

Funny, I was "dinged" for addressing that same individual in one of my earlier posts.

I suggest putting the "Frito Friar" on ignore, Jay.
 
Giving you full credit for good intentions, you took another shot more than 20 mins AFTER a mod posted to stop the personal stuff in that thread. Some unhappy reaction from the mods was virtually inevitable. Not really a big deal.

I don't really mind the drama but I have noticed it's not usually welcome here at BF. Ignore is a wonderful thing.

Whilst my post was technically after the mods post, I posted in reply to a post several posts above the mod post then jumped to another thread, I was not even aware of the mod post until a PM warning hit me.
I have since returned to read the thread and the warning was to close the thread, not to issue inapproporiate warnings.

I feel that bad judgement was made, I am certainly no troll and the black spot now sticks to my profile for all mods to see, I have PM'ed the mod asking for the warning to be removed with no response.

The reason I posted here is because this particular section of blade means the most to me and of course the members who frequent this place, I did not want to just disappear.

I think I'll be taking time out for a while and wait for a response from the mod and in future I shall just let the poo flingers run unchallanged for fear of poor moderation.

The real kicker is the actual troll received no warning at all...... BS

To ALL- Not sure where this is heading as a thread but.....

I doubt it goes anywhere better than can be accomplished by a couple days - chilled.
