I already have one, but it's used and has no box or paper work. This one's new in the box with the paper work. It even has a paper that shows the detail of the locking device.

Yeah, it just popped up on eBay a few minutes ago and I snagged it. Here's a bigger picture of the lock.
I had wondered how it worked, so I was glad that this was included.

being a very new student to ALL the different models of Bucks, i thank you for posting the pics. it is overwhelming how many there are out there with the name Buck on them.

Definitely a GOOD reason to get excited. Those are rare in any condition and that one has IT ALL!

Congrats!

This is a good lesson to me......I gotta start watching the new listings with a lot more diligence than I have been!!!!!!!

Thanks for effectively bringing that to my attention.

:)

It just came and I'm very happy with it! The one downside is that it, like the other one I have has a tiny bit of blade play. It's in the open/close direction instead of side to side. I thought that it might have been from some use with the first one, but this is brand new, so it maybe just the nature of that locking design.

I can't improve on the other picture much if any, so it will have to do for now.

Well, I couldn't resist. Anything that looks like marks are either finger smudges or reflections. I find the tang stamp interesting. I may have heard or read about what it means, but if so I don't remember. Anyone have information on the upside down V with a dot inside?

I now think that all the extra dots that we find were made by one evil and mischievous Buck employee who knew what those dots would do to us years later and just threw them in at random impulse.

:D
