I'm really want to buy stuff from AKS but they don't accept PayPal or Western Union.

I'm from Thailand and I want to buy some steel. I can only make payment via WU or PayPal.

I do have shipping address in the USA. I'll take the risk of items lose or any possibly problem on the shipping.

Would anyone help order for me? I'll pay via PayPal gift for you in advance.

What type of steel are you trying to buy? Is it a specific steel that you can only find at AKS?

If not, then there are a few other good places to order steel from that do take paypal.

Get a PayPal debit Mastercard and use it.

I use it with them all the time

I second the Paypal debit option, or I'm pretty sure you can generate a one time number to use linked to your account.
My paypal account is designated for materials and supplies, and the paypal debit card also provides an extra layer of security versus a bank issued debit card.
 
We ship multiple foreign orders every week. We frequently ship to Thailand. We will be happy to send the OP any material he wants if he follows our payment requirements.

We no longer accept PayPal. We had our account hacked and lost almost $900. None of the money was recovered. PayPal's response was very poor so we stopped using them.

PayPal's problems have been discussed at length in other threads. Many knifemakers delude themselves with regards to Paypal's protection.

OP wouldn't by chance be the crown prince and is stuck in some random city abroad, who will pay someone $100,000 for the trouble of transferring some funds/Knifemaking materials? Sounds a little sketchy to be honest, especially with the whole Western Union bit.

If OP has to use PayPal there are plenty of other outfits who take PayPal. I've personally had a nightmare of a time with PayPal one time and fully understand people not wanting to use them.

Don't they have Walmarts in Thailand? If so I think they have "money centers" in there were Visa prepaid debit cards can be purchased. You could load up one of those using cash and then you'd be good to go.

I said I'll pay the price of whole material cost+shipping in advance via PayPal gift to the person who will going to order it for me. I don't know if it even possible for me to turn to be fraud this way.

The reason why I need help because I use shipping forwarder which locate in Cali to save me on importing tax/shipping cost.

Most material dealer who has CPM-3V in this size and toxic green G10 won't lets me check out via PayPal with different shipping address beside the verified one which mine is here in Thailand. I have ordered several time for USAknifemakers.com and the cost of shipping alone is almost $200


All I want to buy is just :

CPM 3V .180" 23.5" 2.0" $52 x 3 Piece.
Toxic Green G10 Sheet .314" 23.5" 11.5" $110 x 1 Piece.

Hey Khun bright I'm in Thailand also, up in Chiang mai! We should order some things together and can split shipping costs etc. I can place the order for us too if necessary, I'm from the US and have paypal and CC, so should make it easier for you too ;)
 
Hey Greenberg woods that's awesome we'll have to meet up! I lived in Santa Cruz for about 10 years until recently moving to Thailand, and now spend most of my time in Chiang Mai (about 9 months of the year) and then come back to Santa Cruz every year for a few months. We'll have to link up! And if you ever come out to Thailand, you could always do some knife stuff out here, my shop is feeling quite nice these days :))

Hello Nick! I live in Saraburi, a province nearby Bangkok. I have quite large number of knifemakers friend. If you have any chance to come to Ayutthaya we can meet up.

Ayutthaya river shrimp is one of the best in the world :D you have to try it.
