There is not doubt about the hammer handle, but I love her  :D

Sweet! I got the same one. While I'm not crazy about it. I do like it alot, and since it's such a unique departure from the standard Busses, I'll be hanging on to mine.

I almost pulled the trigger on one of these. It looks really practical. I can't wait for an in depth review. Congrats bro. ;)

To me, it feels good in the hand, it's Fat, it's sage and tan and it's sharp infi  What else could I ask for  It's a nice heavy medium sized knife. Could be a nice camp knife, but not a chopper. A good utility blade

Thanks Smitty0331 there can be no doubt, the man makes a sweet blade!!!

I really like the SAR in Micarta!

The handle is a "bit" on the fat side but I like magnum scales so it's not bad. It if were a bit more contoured it would have a chance at knocking my Ratmandu off its perch as my favorite mid-sized knife because the blade shape is so efficient.

The choil shape gives you a LOT of blade for the length. The SAR is much smaller than a BATAC but has more blade.

I do wish that there was a less pronounced swedge as that makes the knife a little less suited for small baton work given the steep spine.

Why the Micarta preference over G10? I bought both and the G10 felt handle heavy to me. Better to look at, worse to hold. :D

If you want to know what indecision is like or a split personality put a tan SAR5 in one hand and a TAN RMD in the other. I feel like those guys in Texas.

You make some good points VoxHog! I agree, it is a great knife, especially for the money!!

I would find it very interesting if Jerry made a SAR 5 that he liked.

I’d like to see the changes in the nuances of the design that he feels are necessary, in other words I'd get some insight as to what goes on in that sick mind:thumbup: :D.

Tony G and steelnut I totally agree!!!! Azshaman, you have great taste!
