It all started last year when I got a Bog Dog from Thatmguy. Yesterday, I got my Battle Rat from Rat Finkenstein. I'm already contemplating getting another Rat! Will this madness end?








Do I want it to end?








Don't even get me started on my new kydex sheath craze. Everything needs a kydex sheath...

I think that it's mere coincidence that SilentHunterStudios made a similar post to yours at a similar time. SHS's post is also genuine.

It's too late for you now, ;). Once you wander into the Rat Trap, you'll fall into an odd state of euphoria -- buying more and more Rats to get your fix. Why fight it? It's all good. :cool:
 
Fair enough silenthunterstudios With 5,555 posts and the rats you have i would say that makes you a rat not an evolving one.I made an assumtion that you were being sarcastic or somebody was spamming.So i am a :jerkit: and apologise unreservedly.

Congrats on your new addiction! And if your caught by those, you've got a whole other area to explore too! Micarta! The addiction doesnt seem to stop there either, to some its an entry drug to "another" knifemaker that is even more decadent!:o
 
You're stuck now SHS. But be warned: It's been said, and often demonstrated, that Rats are a gateway drug to INFI.

The addiction gets worse over time.

I don't think SHS meant any parody of your post.

That said, being a Rat has nothing to do with post count. Note that SHS has 5,555 posts in a single year, for instance. I think some folks have waited for Rats longer than that. :eek:

When you register a username at the SR forums and successfully wait out an order from SR Knives, then I'd say you're well on your way to being a Rat. This instant gratification stuff is for Rat posers. There's a certain rite of passage, I believe, in prolonged agonizing over potential arrival dates. :D

With several fine examples of INFI, my tail is a little curled. But I will say that my SR order is at 75 days and counting. When it arrives and I post some pics and give my RW and HR a work out, I might have some right to count myself a fellow traveler among the Rat brethren.
 
You dont even need any rats to be a rat. Just a pair of beady eyes and a nose for cheese. Twitching whiskers are optional.

Did I inhale a cocaine finish off the Battle Rats blade while sharpening it last night?

I did! And it hurt !! :foot: But I doubt I'll "regret it." If I do, they sell super-fast on the secondary market.
