I used to think that the wide blades of spyderco could make it uncomfortable when I reach for pocket change in that pocket, and I was skeptical of the thumbhole... Well I'm sold!
Just got the Endura, it disappears in the pocket, cuts like no tomorrow, perfect grind lines (actually symetrical), very sharp serrations, thumbhole works (I don't really mind for either now), etc...
The ony gripe is that its looks (that's not the primary concern) and the blade wouldn't drop when you release the lock (somewhat unlike other spydercos that I've seen)
Great knife ;) It has unseated one of the two that I carry all the time.
Man i really need a job now ;)

This thing eats cardboard like nothing, either on the serrations or the plain edge.
Excellent work, Sal ;)

...Me too! I also received a (VG-10 FRN) plain-edge Endura yesterday, and I love this thing! (...And I haven't even cut myself with it, yet.:D.).

...AND, I have a NIB plain-edge ("new-style") FRN Native (CPM-440V?) on the way to me on Monday!.:).:).

Wish the place that I bought it at has PE Endura and Vesuvius... I think the PE on spyderco is sharp enough ;)

Calyth, I to have a new VG-10 Endura. I have carried it about two weeks now and have gotten it worked-in to the point it will fall closed when I release the lock. I also sprayed a litle Ballistol on the joint.

where would i get ballistol?

I actually got mine at a local gun shop. I went looking for some Militec-1, but the shop owner had never heard of it. Instead he gave me a little sample bottle of this stuff. I've only had it on the knife for a day or two now, but its smoothed the action considerably.

The thing is, it's got a gosh awful smell to it, but that dissipated quickly.

They sell it on their website, but you may be able to find it in a shop locally.
