It's been a while, the wedding is getting closer and we have been getting into the spirit of the renaissance theme. Well after a nice long day at the RenFest, I finally wound down and decided to go to bed after our usual midnight session of Hide-and-Seek through the park. (I've got to say that there is nothing better than a nice long night of evading the authority figures of the park [just for fun mind you, no foul play going on here], you just don't know what hide and seek is all about if you don't have acres and acres of RenFest park to run around) Well all the fun aside I woke up the next morning to find my IWB Sheath that you made for me broken! :( I couldn't believe what I saw! I was so sad, right where the clip screws into the rig it had snapped, apparently while I was sleeping and I wasn't even wearing it. I unfortunately have no way of knowing what happened to it as I was in a deep slumber, but I was wondering if there was any way you might be able to help me with the procedures to fix it? Should I buy another one from you or can you just make the clip for a small fee? Thanks in advance for your response I really appreciate your help!

Not to worry. Clay set me up with another clip because I decided to carry mine with a 45 degree cant. Which means I have a spare I can send you if need be. But I think you won't have an issue. Just don't ask about the shoulder harness. I've heard there's been a major developement:D :D :D (Sorry Clay).

As long as you two obviously have experience with the IWB sheath, i want your opinions on the comfort of carry when it comes to sitting, driving, stuff like that. Once it's in, does it bother you at all?

Some positions are better than others when it comes to sitting/driving, it depends on your bone structure and build type I guess. I personally am what some consider "skinny" where as I like to call it 98% useful (I have a 2% body fat count as opposed to the 15-20% found on the common man), so my bones are closer to the surface of my skin which makes some positions more uncomfortable than others. If I place my sheath in the back of my trousers I must do so in-between my spine and hip bone, side wear is good only if I am wearing a belt and clip it on the outside, and finally front wear is just fine as long as it is on the inside or in between my pelvic bones (I try to avoid locating the sheath over my hip bones). But this is not were the sheaths applications end! If you wear boots it becomes the perfect boot rig, this thing can go anywhere you want really. I totally recommend it even though I have no experience with Clay's other models. If you are a person of thick stature then it is possible that you may find a wider variety of placement options for your IWB Sheath. Generally speaking I don't see anyone having comfort problems if you just find the soft niches in your body to stash your sheath.

Hope this was helpful.

Blake: I sent you e-mail on this, and will have a new clip out to you ASAP.

Tony: I finished the first harness and wore it out Sunday. It wasn't bad for a first effort, but I did think up a few tweaks. I finished adding those this morning and I must say, this thing is MUCH better than I had ever hoped it would be.

........ more to come.

You have the Friendliest attitude that demands recognition and MUCH praise!;) (as you can tell:D by my constant rambling) Thank you again for everything and like I said in my e-mail, after the wedding, I'll be ordering the rest of your models!;) Just give me a price and I'll meet it.
