Hi Guys, Sorry I have not been around much. This summer was crazy. Between trying to catch up on Machete sheath orders, trying to get some time in the woods and breaking my right arm I wasn't online much. Just wanted to let people know that I'm still around and am still cranking out Machete sheaths for Fiddleback machetes and others.
I'm currently helping out with a Pass-around that is going on in the H.I. Forum by way of making sheaths for them. Thought I would share some pics with you guys:
The Belt loop is a Frog thats kept in place with a Sam Brown Stud. If you remove the frog and switch keeper straps it rides nicely IWB Cross draw.
This next sheath is based off the Randal Model B sheath, but with a Sewn in place belt loop instead of the intagrated one. You'll also see this on my machete sheaths. The reason for this is because it creates a shelf so that the handle slabs or guard aren't jamming up against the belt loop. This shelf can be created on a sheath with the integrated belt loop if a shim is installed between the welt and back which is also the belt loop.
This sheath is In Progress so I'll add more pics when I have them:
