Got drawn into the rabbit hole of overbulit survival type knives trying to be more than they can be and as a result failing at what they should be.

I am now a hawk guy + an ultra-light carbon steel drop point small fixed blade.

Loud & proud baby.

Max 5-6 inch blade, skeletonised, parachord wrapped handle, carbon steel, drop point, flat grind.

you just haven't met the right knife yet;
or one which fits you ;-)
many have gone to great lengths in order to
secure what best befits their ideals for carry.
best wishes for reaching the conclusion
with your current duo. may your hawk lead
the way out of the rabbit hole :)

If every man found a nice battle hawk that makes me feel the way mine makes me feel there would be less hate in the world.

:) "Hawk" as in tomahawk or as in hawksbill knife ? :confused:

:eek: You plan to EDC a tomahawk ? o_O

So , tomahawk and small fixed blade ?

Open carry or CC ?

Hope you live out in the woods , somewhere isolated from most people . ;)

Gotcha;

Hawk as in tomohawk.

EODC - Every other day carry. Won't carry to work or town. I run my dogs most nights and carry then. Also mount hawk in vehicle.

How do you.CC a frikkin tomohawk??

I live rural, not 20 minutes drive from some big forests. Live on edge of town tho.

check out the kabar 1117 - 4" blade, 1095 crovan, do your own paracord - it's likely perfect & under $50 - what more could you ask for?
