It's been a long while (4+ years) since I've been on the forums. I left due to some personal and financial issues. Most have been resolved so I'm back as an experiment to see how this goes.

Quick update on me:

Back in the USA
Divorced, but engaged again to a smart, funny woman.
Living and working happily in East Texas

From the looks of it, I have a lot of reading to do on who has died, retired, or gone off the deep end.

I look forward to continuing / building / rebuilding relationships with you all.

Welcome back, hope it's enjoyable for you.

Welcome back.
Good to hear things have gotten better for you.
Enjoy, and hope your experiment works well. :)

Wow. I'm at a loss for words at all the changes / events that have taken place.

It was hard to read about Vampire Gerbil passing. Dave was a super nice fellow. Even tougher was reading that one of my favorite knife makers, a man I might have considered a friend, seems to have gone of the deep end. To have someone dead and unreachable can be difficult; alive and unreachable is heartbreaking.

More heartbreak is seeing many of the knives I owned now being priced too high to replace if they are replaceable at all.

After poking around a while the other day I realize how much I miss this forum and hobby, so went ahead and became a paying member. I guess maybe the bug is still there, let's go feed it.
