Not right away, but by the end of the year, my tight budget should be loosened quite a bit, thus allowing me to grab another Fiddleback.

I'm thinkin Terrasaur. It looks like it would be a real bada$$ busher and I do so love the Fiddlebacks.

What's ya'lls dream Fiddleback?

Mmmm. My grail is a Bushfinger etched heavily like that Woodsman he just did, but with Jade G10, black liners, pins, and bullseye.
 
The Bushfinger was my grail Fiddleback....but I have that one so now it's a Recluse with a wooden handle :D . Then it will be a Hiking Buddy similar to the Bushfinger but maybe with wood instead of micarta. After that I'm not sure :)
 
I just saw that Lee's has my Terrasaur, Mist mod and all. Hmmmmmmm........ and Christmas is gettin' closer. Moose
 
Recluse with bamboo handles and red liners (production for now, custom later). Then I saw on the FF website the Woodsman with bolsters in a cross formation. One dream at a time...:rolleyes:

What mod?

I like the Terrasaur, but the recluse just speaks to me more for some reason. I'm really looking forward togetting it. By the time i finish with current projects I'm going to be ready for some bushcraft time :)
 
Hiking Buddy or Ladyfinger. I really dig the burlap Hunter but I need another now. One with a little more finesse......

Sounds nice and all thanks...but actually Joe designed the Terrasaur with an optional tang extension, and I believe his personal one has a tang extension. I just happen to dig tang extensions for several reasons, and I requested one on the Bushfinger. Since the Bushfinger was initially a variant of the Ladyfinger, which did not have a tang extension...you could maybe say that was a Mist-Mod. For my uses I wouldn't mind at all if the Recluse I got had one, and the Hiking Buddy after that and you could call those mist mods too if you like :) ... but I can not take credit for the extension on the Terrasaur.

Thanks for the clarification, I just started calling it that on the Fiddllebacks cause that was what and had written up on the Bushfinger. I asked about the same thing on a hunter. Tang extensions aren't a new concept by no means, it just sounded cool. Kinda like Moose Mod. Just rolls off the tounge.:)

I'm getting a Hunter, but the next on my fiddleback short list will be a Bushfinger.

Then 12" and 18" machetes, 3-finger karda, CPM154 ladyfinger and bushfinger, Recluse, Arete, Bow Legged Chopper, and it goes on and on :D
 
My Grail knife is a very special KPH. Next on my list would be a modified LadyFinger design I sent Andy a few days ago.

And I could see why. When he posted that one in the batch pics I was just amazed at it. That thing is gorgeous, man. The only reason I would not want it is b/c it would just take up some room in my gun safe. If there ever was a Fiddleback safe queen that is it right there, I would be scared to get her dirty. Gawd that is a pretty blade.

I was under the impression Andy was no longer taking orders :confused:
In any case I've ordered mine in May so I'm lucky enough to anticipate the arrival of my grail knife :D

I ordered mine several months ago. On further inspection I also ordered my KPH in May. If you were referencing the modified Ladyfinger then the answer to that is that I don't expect it to ever get made. Who knows though?
