It'll be going on the side or back of my calf. What model knife should I get etched into my skin?
 
The best looking EKI imo is the Persian or 8 but for a tat it would probably have to a classic like the 7 :thumbup:
 
The Emerson skull seems like a cool idea for a tattoo to me. I saw a picture of a guy with a Spyderco Delica tattoo and it looked a bit goofy to me.
 
the skull looks cool, i dont know about a knife, but then i guess i dont know about tats really.

The pirate logo like the one I have as my sig would be pretty cool too.
 
Like I said, just my opinion. . . With two knives and a balisong-ish tat already, seems like you have already established that you like knives. An emerson skull would be more classy, but then I am fond of skulls, art-wise. At least once you become a saggy old man, a skull is still a skull. an Emerson knife will look like a bud K special. Moreover, I would not expect a tattoo artist to render an accurate depiction of a specific blade.
 
id get your favorite knife tattooed. I have a skull tat so a emerson skull will look good as well.

If he couldn't I wouldn't let him touch my skin. That said, I think the Emerson skull would be a great tattoo.
 
CQC-10 would look cool in tattoo form, or one those Titanium Tanto Customs you have..
 
CM,You already have too many knife tats.Go ahead and get that EKI Skull.
 
I agree esp, about an accurate rendering... so I'll be getting the skull. Just like on Haze's sig line.
 
I'm thinking it would be better placed on my left chest, opposite my BM tat.
 
If you're going to get an Emerson tat I would recommend this as the source material. It is a little dark but I think it captures his spirit quite well.

In all seriousness, the pirate logo on your chest is probably a better idea than a knife on your calf. Long ad skinny tats generally don't read well on the contours of calf.
 
A good tattoo artist can render an accurate depiction of your favorite Emerson knife. If you bring the artist quality photos or even better the knife itself, I am sure they'll draw up something you'll like. Personally I would choose an Emerson skull with crossed CQC-7's which would go nice with your crossed balis tat.
