From what I can tell from this forum, the Mojo, Battle Misstress and Fusion Steel Heart are all pretty big. How do they compare to each other?
 
don't know about the Mojo, but the Mofo and FSH and pretty close in chopping ability, with the Mofo/Mojo being a lot lighter. of course, the FBM would out chop both of them

Well to me there is no contest just get a BM.

The FSH is a very nice knife but it is just as much trouble to carry as a BM so why give up the extra length of blade?

The Mojo doesn't do much for my eye so it isn't a consideration for me, others do like it and I can't say they are wrong. Same goes for the FSH many love that knife too.

As far as BMs go best bang for the buck is the BM-e (well all E's are a deal these days) and the BM-e is light for a big knife. That said I'm a big fan of the CGFBM also, it is heavy but it can really chop.

And then if you have $1,400 to drop on a knife (and if you can find one) there is the SHBM. You can write a book on why a SHBM is actually worth $1,400; but for now say that it is on the light side for a big knife, balances just right, steel is a bit harder so the edge can be thinner.

But you really need a CGFBM, BM-e and a SHBM :D :thumbup:

I would second TonyG's recommendation. The CGFBM's are a good deal right now (I wish I had had any spare cash to pick up that tan and snakeskin that was on the exchange a while ago). The FFBM's are great also, but heavier than the CGFBM's. I would say grab which ever one you see that you like. I have only ever chopped with the FBMLE, but the price on those took a quick jump, as soon as they sold out at the company store. They are great, if you want to spend the extra, but I would say the CGFBM's and FFBM's are a better bang for the buck.
 
Well it looks like the FBM is the way to go, but I might wait on that for a little while because I'm loving the Mojo and FSH variants that I was just looking at in those customganza threads!
 
Would someone be able to post a pic of a BM, an FSH and a Mojo all together so I can see the differences between them? I would greatly appreciate it. :)

There's also a new BM coming out soon which will likely lead to a bunch of people selling their old model BMs on the Exchange, hang on another month or so if you can.

I'm very interested in the new one, but I'm assuming it will be available for a long time like the Ash has been. So I figured I'd grab one of these nice customs while I had the chance. Am I wrong to assume the new BM will have a long run?
 
It will probably have a long run, but it may be a long time until it is released.

Busse time is a strange thing.

Then perhaps I'll just wait for that. Does anyone have any clue as to what it will cost? What did the originals go for?
