just bought my first CRK.. a small 21 sebenza. right here off the BF exchange.

i cant wait for it to be here so i can experience the fine quality of a CRK!

sorry for this useless thread but all my friends think its stupid to pay more than $30 bucks for a knife so i have nobody to express my excitement to besides you all!

Not to worry. Many people think that's crazy money. Just enjoy your new purchase. I work with a couple "knife guys," but pretty much everyone else would think I'm nuts for spending that kind of money.

oh im sure im going to enjoy it! i just hope it doesnt disappoint me. i hope i havent put it on too high of a pedestal lol

Congrats on your new sebbie. You will love it I am sure. I still get excited a new CRK comes to my door and I have had tons of them. Its a great feeling knowing you have something in your hand so special. Its not only just a knife, its a Chris Reeve Knife. The Man and his desire to achieve perfection is legendary. Thats why we keep buying more and more.

No worries brother--we are family here. I feel the exact same way--no one I personally know "gets" it when it comes to my knives, so I come here to roost!

Don't worry what people think. They think Porsches are a waste of money, too. Until they drove mine.

PS; The sign above my head is apt, as my wife would say.

Congrats! I will only tell other knife folks what some of these knives cost as others just don't get it. Thankfully we have a great arena right here to share the joy.

Congrats on your first CRK, I'm sure that you'll love it no matter how high a pedestal you've imagined for it- they're second to none.

Even those of us lucky to have close buddies who are " knife guys " come here for the same reasons. It's very nice to converse with like minded individuals nd sometimes it's nice to be " enabled " into the next purchase that your wallet is telling you not to make ;D

Locutus,

That is a very nice looking Porshe, I haven't been in one in many years but I'd sure like some wheel time in that beauty!

Thanks for posting that pic, the sign placement gave me a very good laugh.
