The waiting is killing me.Can any owners of the Rogers Rangers from Fort Turner share their pics of theirs? Beauty shots, action shots it's all welcome.

Well, My Fort Turner Rogers Rangers hawk arrived today.Unfortunately I have the damn flu so I can't get any pics of it right now.
Wow this thing is beautiful.Everything about it is so sweet. The edge is an easy 4" and perfectly ground.even the spike is freakishly sharp.

Good Deal on the Hawk, Bad Deal on the Flu "I hope It aint that Swine Flu !" Dana doe's some Great work, The Edge he put's on his Hawk's Is the Best I've seen out of all the Hawk maker's I've delt with "That's where Dana has The Edge", I only have one Fort Turner Hawk and that's the Hardened Poll Trapper's Hawk, His Roger's Ranger Hawk Is at the Top of my to Get List ! Congrat's on the New Hawk,

I couldn't resist getting some pictures of my new hawk.So I sucked it up and hiked out back.I am grateful for the anti-shake feature on my camera though as my hands were far from steady.
just some beauty shots.....

I took down a tree with little effort on the hawks part.

I wrapped the handle just below the head in rough leather and sealed it with hot wax.I wanted some measure of protection against missed chops as well as added grip for choking up for fine cutting. It also has the added bonus of securing the head to the handle.

That Fort Turner Roger's Ranger Is a "Beauty" ! I better Hurry and Order one cuz Rendezvous season Is upon us and Dana will be gone TomaHawk'en, Have you ever seen his Tent/Forge setup at the Fort Bridger Renezvous ? I'll post a link for It here soon, Well I cant find the picture but Fort Turner Is there every year, Here's a Link for the Rendezvous, http://www.fortbridgerrendezvous.net/

Awesome. How's the rawhide grip?? I have an Iroquois and Bowie from him and love them both.

The rawhide grips very well.My dad wants one of the bowie knives to go with his flintlock. This won't be my last buy from Fort Turner.
