What Rusty said in his opening post in this thread is right on......... "I wish the vultures would go away."

I have had enough for a while myself!!!!
It's time for us to get back to what we were doing before this act of vicious and violent war was visited upon us.
With Remembrance and Care and much more Awareness than we as Americans have ever had to observe at any time in our history perhaps......

It's not easy to keep us Americans down. We are always ready to "fight the good fight" and come out on top, victorious each and every time!!!!
We are a Stubborn, Proud and Headstrong people who have never given up and, I Pray, never will.

We need to prepare ourselves for the war to come by going back to our jobs, at least those of us who can, and do what we've always done when our country has called on us.
There are several thousand men and women, the cream of America's crop in the National Guard and Military Reserves, being called to the service of our country and someone is going to have to take up the slack that they're going to leave behind.
And we will do that as we always have by working harder and smarter and in some instances much longer hours doing whatever neccesary to have "business as usual."

And we should be back to "business as usual" except it will never again be just,"business as usual."
We have been bloodied in our homeland in the most vile and despicable way imagineable and there may be more to come in no telling what low handed and dirty ways that are totally unimagineable for us.
And I have been very glad to see the UBDOTD's up as usual the last few days.
Uncle Bill nad H.I. have set a good example for all.

There have also been several sports contests and other programs that have been postponed and perhaps with good reason since the sports complexes is one target the terrorists were looking at, but we need to start the games up again as soon as possible and I'm not a sports fan.
I have wondered maybe if the government asked the games to be postponed for the safety of our people.
But life itself is fraught with danger... And yet life goes on..........

We won't do our country any good by setting glued in front of a television waiting on the next bit of news the vultures are broadcasting.
It is long since past the time of repetitious..........

It's time to do what we as Americans have always done. It's time to rebuild and continue to pursue the American Dream and living the American Life.
Meanwhile being more aware and cautious as to what's going on around us in our neighborhoods, towns, cities, counties and states.
If something is suspicious report the activitiy(ies) to the authorities.
We have never cowed down in our homes for long and IMO it is not time to start............

To be very honest I have not felt like doing business as usual and still don't but I'm going to try.

Well said again Yvsa! Uncle keep trying to feel better! The convention will help us all I think! I'm still very much looking forward to it all!!!! See ya there!

My heart is still very heavy. I don't recover as fast as I once did but I'm still going to do my best to make it to the convention. I consider this a duty and if I can get to Catoosa I know I'll feel better and will heal faster.
