I'm wondering what to expect--my KA-Bar vs. a BK&T Crewman

I'm planning to order a Crewman (chosen over a Campanion - based on the reviews posted here), and I was wondering what to expect.

In comparison to the KA-Bar (which I am very familiar with) how does the Crewman feel? I mean, heavier, thicker, more balanced, sharper, etc.?

(I know the blade is shorter--but this (the KA-Bar) is one knife I can use as a comparison.)

Thanks!

The crewman is the shiznit. Its my work knife and it works well. Its saved me a lot of trouble. Its tough, holds its edge extreamly well. Everyone I've shown it too has been impressed, including the local LEO. They want one as well. Its tough, solid, sharp. And thick. Hard to picture breaking on. Worth every cent. All they need is a 3.75 inch blade with a clip shealth..and I'll be all set. I don't see myself buying from anyone else..exactly what I was looking for.

My guess a crewman can at least figuratively chop the Kabar in half. You can always try to see if it actually will!

Picture it like this-The Kabar is an all around good knife. Not too thick, wide, heavy...doesn't excel at chopping, slicing, stabbing, but rather does all things needed in a knife well. The BK-7 took all of that and upgraded it. And the BK-10 is simply a more compact package. So unless you absolutely need a fighting only knife, you will love your BK-10.
