Had a little fun today with my new grinder. Got my hands on this Imacasa axe head a few years ago, started to modify is by ironing out the cosmetic dings and scratches it had under the paint but lacked the horsepower to do it. Fast forward to today, when I dusted it off and finished prettying it up, along with the addition of a high centerline.

Grizzly model G1015. A lot of knife makers start off with them and never get rid of 'em even after they upgrade. For me, as a modifier rather than someone building from the ground up, it's a perfect unit. 2x72 belt with 8" contact wheel on one side of the motor housing and a buffing arm off the other side. I used to do polishing work at a custom yacht company here in Maine and I've been dying to get a buffer in the shop for a while. 2 birds, one stone. :)
